CAGI Announces Updated Chapter in the Compressed Air & Gas Handbook

The Compressed Air & Gas Institute (CAGI) is pleased to announce that an updated version of Chapter 4 – Compressed Air System Design of the Compressed Air and Gas Handbook is now available for download from the CAGI website. Chapter 4 is a comprehensive review of how to properly design, install, operate and maintain a compressed air system to ensure it is an efficient source of power. This chapter focuses on the roles that key system parameters play in achieving the ultimate goal of a well-designed compressed air system.

The eight-chapter Compressed Air and Gas Handbook is undergoing an extensive revision to bring its content up to current levels of technology and application regarding compressed air.  Chapter 4 joins Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 5 as being revised and they replace the Chapters of the sixth edition of the Handbook that are currently posted on the CAGI website. As additional Chapters are revised, they will be announced and made available for free download from the CAGI website.
