Proportion-Air, a universal leader in proportion electro-pneumatic pressure and flow products, has moved and expanded its Gulf Breeze, Florida, research and development operations to a new 12,000-square-foot building.

Founded in 1985 by President and CEO Daniel Cook, the company develops pneumatic devices that use compressed gas or air to move cylinders, motors and many other mechanical parts. Proportion-Air distinguishes itself by offering custom-built regulators with acute accuracy and repeatability offering manufacturers an exact solution for their needs. This new facility provides more space to invent and test new products.
“Our new building will help us ‘Retool America’ and help bring back manufactured products like ours that are necessary for a secure industrial base,” said Cook.
In addition to electro-pneumatic regulators, the company offers mechanical pressure regulators, flow control devices and product accessories. Burling Valve industrial process regulators for gas and liquids and the Protect-Air line of miniature pre-set regulators are also part of the brand family.
All Proportion-Air and Burling Valve products are made in America at Proportion-Air’s 30-acre manufacturing facility in McCordsville, Indiana, about 20 miles east of Indianapolis. The company also has an additional technical sales support office in Texas.
